We've spent our lives making mix tapes for friends and strangers, because how else would they realize how much ass those songs kick? And now we're giving you music for free, because we think you need to hear it. So take a minute and find your element.

OK, SO WHAT DO I DO HERE?

Explore and discover some new, amazing music, download as many songs as you want for FREE, and then use them to make mixes for yourself, your friends and your family. In fact, you can do anything you want with them, as long as you don't try to resell them or use them in any way to make a profit. You got 'em for free, so make sure you give 'em for free.

THAT'S GREAT, BUT HOW DO I FIND SONGS I LIKE?

Well, we admit it's going to take a little more exploration than just clicking on the "Rock and Roll" or "Hip Hop" link on Napster. We want to push our (and your) envelopes when we think about and categorize music. And then we want to discover the irrelevance of categories for music. Music has unique associations and brings out different feelings for everyone. We might rock out to something that puts you to sleep. You might hear the driving beat in something that reminds us of our grandmothers. Explore, unlearn and relearn.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY LEARN SOMETHING?

We want to think twice before we describe a song or a band to anyone else. How about you? Let's start a dialogue about how we interact with music. And if we happen to learn a little physics or chemistry or math along the way? Well, there are worse things that could happen.
