Ah yes, here we are in beautiful Austin, Texas, getting our minds all samurai for the veritable ONSLAUGHT OF ROCK N ROLL we’ll be wreaking on this town over the next few days.

Whoa, I really got into it up there.
In other news, we’ve finished up shows with travel-mates Dirty on Purpose and Apollo Sunshine. Mucho funno. The past two days have been filled with beach time in Florida, including an amazing, misty sunrise over the great Atlantic-- as always, Mama Earth gives the best show in town! We were able to finally check out The Big Sleep on our day off in St. Augustine Beach… totally awesome-- they played with DOP and The Thermals from Portland, who rocked my afro off as well…
It’s funny that I had to come all the way to Florida to see a couple bands from Brooklyn…
I caught your show at the ACL stage for KEXP yesterday afternoon!!!!!!! Fantastic!!! You’ve spoiled me for the rest of the week. It’s gonna be hard to find anyone as good. I’m so happy to see you live. Love you all very much and keep doing what you are doing.
