Arrived home on Monday for a short-n-sweet stay at the ol’ homestead… and a CMJ show!
The time-space vortex that is EG tour has spit me out in NYC for a week-long furlough. When my boyfriend walked through the door I was happily astonished to discover that he’s a real person and not a figment of my imagination!
This first leg of tour saw us from the majestic Red Rocks of Colorado through the Canadian prairies to the Pacific Northwest, then out to our very first Ohio show (Hey-o Ohio!), and finishing up with this midwestern girl’s favorite thang ever-- a few shows with the southern rockin’, country howlin’ Shooter Jennings! This next leg promises to be full of good times as well, with stops in Austin and N’awlins for Voodoo, and then another kick-ass run with Chris Cornell. As always WOO-HOO!
We’ll be playing a mayhem-laden show this Friday at Irving Plaza, with Spank Rock and The Noisettes-- yeah! Get your tickets here! See you rockers out there on the avenue, and pictures are coming to this here blog very soon, as well as to the Earl Greyhound website…
Also, check out the recording I did this past June of my solo project Larune at The Echo Sessions—you can download 3 FREE TRACKS, and if you likey, then buy the rest of the session, which includes 5 Larune tracks plus 5 tracks by Finian McKean.
