Dear Blog, ahhhh… I like home. I haven’t visited you for a while because I’ve been getting settled in. It took me two weeks to unpack from tour… I’ve been able to check out a couple great shows, notably The Slip and Smyer… and EG has played a few shows, notably Boston and Philly this past weekend (um, those peeps ROCK. IT.) And now I’m gearing up to work on some of my Larune stuff during the break. Perhaps I’ll whip up some demos this week and post ‘em, cuz I’ve just become addicted to a new toy-- a little yummy microphone that I hook up to my iPod! Get ready, cuz I’m about to nerd out and get jiggy with recording mechanisms… I’ll be bringing you the sounds of summer: sanguine to silly to somewhat strange-- I’ll work on getting something up this week and we’ll see what happens from there…
Glad you guys made it home safely from tour. You deserve a little break and some down time. You’ve worked hard. Enjoy the sounds, smell, taste of summer… my favorite season. Many blessings to the three of you.
