Needless to say, EG has been KILLING it here in Austin… break out the body bags y’all. We’re having shitloads of fun-- it’s a big, fabulous circus of earthlings flying their freak flags, and music is pouring out of every window, doorway and crevice! We’ve been rocking all different sorts of stages, from outdoor bbqs to concrete back yards, culminating in our SXSW showcase last night, where they had to call out the fire marshall cuz the bar was jam-packed full of the FREE RAWKERS of the world! We rock one more show tonight and then take a little break as we prepare to headline the Troubador in L.A. on March 31st… We’ve seen some really great bands out here as well… Dragons of Zynth never cease to amaze me, and openers O’ Death were unbelievable as well… caught smidges of Land of Talk and hit myself for not getting there in time cuz they’re really SUCH an awesome band… ah well… Lastly, the Aussie outfit Airborne really brought the rock AC/DC style last night-- I almost threw my underwear!
