basementband is brooklyn-based, alt.country outfit whose music ranges from uptempo, bluegrass and rock to hushed, folkie-ballads. Their traditional instrumentation creates an energetic, rhythmic base on top of which they deliver honest lyrics in three-part vocal harmony.
